heritage flowers

History in pockets…the majority of flowers we grow at Blooms on Hay Creek are heirloom, meaning they have been passed down by tuber, seed, or cuttings for many decades. In our first year, we focused on starting a dahlia collection while planting many annuals from seed, such as zinnias, celosia, sunflowers, ageratum, and phlox.
