Blooms on Hay Creek grows heritage cut flowers along with market vegetables for our neighbors in Livingston County, MI. We also host the barnyard for The Fowl Father.
We farm a homestead built in 1875, on 11 acres that share the woods with the Brighton State Rec. Area. Hay Creek winds through a third of our property on its way to the Huron River and eventually to Lake Erie.
Curiosity is what makes this family farm possible.
Watching for the moment that a dahlia is about to open, smelling when the tomato smells like a tomato – everything here is chosen on purpose – the varieties, the stories we tell, the community we serve.
A little wild, all intentional.
